Premiere Media Group
and Elite Looks are giving away prizes as
listed on the official prize list to 3 lucky females who enter and wins the
Miss Corvette Contest 2010 (the "Contest"). The Contest
will be administered in accordance with these Official Contest Rules.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to enter the Contest, contestants must be born female, 18
years and older. A contestant cannot be an employee of Premiere Media Group or a member of a Premiere Media Group
employee's immediate household. Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, parent,
affiliates, contractors and agents, and their immediate families and any persons domiciled
with an employee or immediate family member of an employee, are NOT eligible.
Entry is not available to persons with felony records or to transsexuals.
Bad
sportsmanship will not be tolerated for any reason and will result in disqualification.
Entry Details.
Dates:
Premiere Media Group began accepting entries for the Contest on
August 9, 2010. All entries must be received by Premiere Media Group (
CLICK HERE TO ENTER ) no later than
October 16, 2010 at 8am. (the ""Deadline""). Premiere Media Group
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Deadline, provided that it posts
notice of such change on the Website at least twenty (10) days prior to the last date on
which entries will be accepted.
How to Win:
The MissCorvette.com 2010 Contest is to be
held at 11110 W. Airport Blvd. Stafford Texas 77477, starting
Oct. 16, 2010 at 8am. Judges will
come from all walks of life (butcher, baker, candlestick maker),
along with two 2 judges drawn from the audience at the event.
Round I, Photo Competition.
Starting at 8am, October 16, 2010 contestant photos will be
taken along side a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette. This photo will
determine 10% of your overall score for the MissCorvette.com
contest. Other vehicles will be available to earn more overall
points by having your picture taken with vehicles on a Contestant
Photo Card given to you when you arrive that will be signed by the
vehicle owner after your photo is taken, who will later vote a
overall contestant choice for that vehicle shoot.
Overall the Elite Looks "I Have The Look" Photo Shoot will comprise
20% of your overall score.
Round II, Live Contest.
There will be a swimsuit competition for the remaining 80% of
the overall score. There will be one Q & A session with our MC and
the question everyone will be asked is "Why do you think you would
make a good MissCorvette.com, Queen Of The American Dream winner.
Contestants
will be judged on
(1) Free
Style . Freestyle will allow the contestants to choose what they think is their
best look for MissCorvette.com. Absolutely, no nudity will be permitted.
(2) Swimsuit . -
Anything
you can legally wear in Texas is allowed.
Round II
will comprise 80% of the overall score.
Criteria:
All contestants will be judge on beauty, form, personal attributes and
overall sex appeal.
Winners:
Upon winning a grand prize, or either of the
runners-up prizes, the potential winners will be required to sign and return
affidavits of eligibility and releases of liability/publicity, except where
prohibited. Failure to sign and return the affidavit and release constitutes waiver
of the prize. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No
cash or substitution allowed for non-cash prizes. All applicable taxes will be the
responsibility of the winner. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the
Contest shall constitute the winner's consent to Sponsor's use of the contestants' entry,
including winner's name, city, state, likeness, and photographs for promotional and
commercial purposes in any media anywhere in the world without further payment or
consideration. Sponsor is not responsible for distortion or any other imperfection
in the picture quality appearing on the Internet, or any other media, and is not required
to make any changes to the entries once received. All entries received by Sponsor
become Sponsor's sole property and none will be returned.
Prize:
The MissCorvette.com Contest Winners shall receive prizes as listed on the official
prize list. The Contest Winners are responsible for all
taxes and fees associated with winning the prize. All awards subject to fulfillment
by the sponsors. Premiere Media Group assume no responsibility for the failure of
the sponsors to fulfill their commitment.
General Conditions:
All Contestants will be required to show identification and proof of
age upon check-in.
Submission of false identification or information will be grounds for
disqualification from the Contest.
By entering into the Contest, contestants (i) release Premiere Media Group
and its employees, agents, and representatives from all liability with respect to
the selection of the Contest Winner and the awarding of the prize and (ii) consent to the
use of the contestant's name and likeness in connection with the prize or the
www.MissCorvette.com website (the ""Website"") without
additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
The winners shall be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a
liability/publicity release, both of which shall be provided to the Winners by Premiere
Media Group at the time announcement of the MissCorvette.com
contest. In order
to claim the prize, the Contest Winners must execute and return the affidavit of
eligibility and liability/publicity release to Premiere Media Group, in person
the day the prize is received.
Authority.
Premiere Media Group shall be the sole interpreters of these
rules and the decisions of Premiere Media Group shall be final.
Jurisdiction.
The Contest and these rules shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any principals of
conflicts of law.
Conduct.
These rules will remain posted on the Website throughout the Contest
period. Premiere Media Group reserves the right, in their
sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or entity that tampers with the entry
process or the operation of the Contest or acts in violation of these rules or other
state, federal, or local laws.
Limitations of Liability.
Premiere Media Group and their officers,
directors, employees, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, and legal
advisors are not responsible and shall not be liable for any personal injury, death,
property damage, or other losses or claims arising out of or related to:
(I) acceptance, possession, or use of the prizes;
(II) participation in the Contest;
(III) violation of publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of
privacy;
(IV) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or
unintelligible entries;
(V) late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Contest
Winners;
(VI) delays or malfunctions in computer, telephone, or Internet/network
systems;
(VII) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions;
(VIII) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Premiere Media
Group;
(IX) any printing or typographical error contained in any materials
associated with the Contest; and
(X) damage to contestant's computer systems caused by participation in the
Contest.
Miscellaneous.
Neither
Sponsor nor its agencies is responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property
which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from contestant's
participation in the Contest or from downloading any material from Sponsor's Web site,
regardless of whether the material was prepared by Sponsor or a third party, and
regardless of whether the material is connected to the Sponsor's Website by a hypertext
link.
SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL, CHANGE VENUE OR DATE OR MODIFY
THE CONTEST IF FRAUD, TECHNICAL FAILURES OR ANY OTHER FACTOR BEYOND SPONSOR'S REASONABLE
CONTROL IMPAIRS THE INTEGRITY OF THE Contest AS DETERMINED BY SPONSOR IN ITS SOLE
DISCRETION.
Release:
By receipt of the prize in the Contest, contestant agrees to release and hold harmless
Premiere Media Group, its subsidiaries, divisions, related
companies and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against
any claim or cause of action arising out of contestant's use of such prize.
Arbitration:
By entering the Contest, contestant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and
causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded,
other than the administration of the Contest or the determination of winners shall be
resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by
arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Rules (July, 1996) of the American
Arbitration Association in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. Any and all claims, judgments and awards
shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with
participating in this promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees. Participants hereby
waive all rights to (I) claim or be awarded any punitive, direct, indirect, incidental and
consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses,
and (ii) to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
Choice of Law:
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of contestant and
Sponsor in connection with the Miss Corvette Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance
with, the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without giving effect to any choice of law
or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Texas, U.S.A., or any
other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction
other than the State of Texas, U.S.A. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state
and local laws. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter.
Complete the Official Entry form that is posted on our Website, in full.
The competition requires you to submit three (2) color or black &white photos minimum.
These photos are required to be an accurate depiction of the way you presently look.
Entry can be accomplished through visiting our website at
www.MissCorvette.com and
following the directions under the "How to Enter"
section.
Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid,
illegible or misdirected mail or e-mail, which will be disqualified; for failed, partial
or garbled computer transmissions; or for kind, including, but not limited to
electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware, or software, any breech of security,
or electronic or human error which may occur in the processing of entries. All submissions
become property of Premiere Media Group and are final and may not be modified. Sponsors reserves the
right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with
the entry process or with the operation of the Contest, or to be acting in violation of
these Official Rules. Any submission that contains nudity or any other feature that
Sponsor determines in its sole discretion is patently offensive will not be used. Proof of
sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.
